By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

Important: If you are under 18 years of age, you must have your parent or legal guardian read and accept these Terms on your behalf before using ChoresAI.

ChoresAI is an AI-powered family chore management platform that enables:

• Family Organization: Parents can create families and invite children to join
• Chore Management: Creation, assignment, and tracking of household chores
• AI Verification: Automated analysis of chore completion through photo submissions
• Digital Rewards: Virtual wallet system for tracking earnings from completed chores
• Communication: Notifications and updates about chore status

3. User Accounts and Eligibility

3.1 Account Creation

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Age Requirements and Parental Consent

• Parents/Guardians: Must be 18 years or older to create a family account
• Children: May use the Service under parental supervision with explicit parental consent
• Parents are responsible for their children's use of the Service and compliance with these Terms
• Parents may terminate their children's access to the Service at any time

3.3 Family Accounts

• Family accounts are managed by parent/guardian users
• Parents are responsible for all activity within their family account
• Parents can invite children using secure invite codes
• Family data is shared among family members as intended by the Service design

4. AI Analysis and Photo Processing

4.1 AI Verification System

• Our AI system analyzes photos submitted as proof of chore completion
• AI decisions are automated but may be reviewed or overridden by parents
• We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of AI analysis
• The AI system is designed to use age-appropriate standards for evaluation

4.2 Photo Submissions

• Users may submit photos as proof of completed chores
• Photos are processed by our AI system and may be stored for service improvement
• Do not submit photos containing inappropriate, illegal, or harmful content
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms

5. Digital Wallet and Virtual Currency

5.1 Virtual Rewards System

• ChoresAI provides a virtual wallet system for tracking chore completion rewards
• All monetary values displayed are virtual and for educational/motivational purposes
• Virtual currency has no real-world monetary value and cannot be converted to actual currency through our Service
• Parents determine the real-world value and distribution of any actual rewards

5.2 Transaction History

• The Service maintains records of virtual transactions for tracking purposes
• Parents can review and modify virtual wallet balances
• We are not responsible for disputes regarding real-world reward distribution

6. User Conduct and Responsibilities

6.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or inappropriate
• Violate any local, state, national, or international law
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our consent

6.2 Content Standards

• All photos and content must be appropriate for a family environment
• Content should be relevant to chore completion verification
• Respect privacy of family members and others who may appear in photos

7. Privacy and Data Protection

• We collect information necessary to provide the Service, including photos, user profiles, and usage data
• Family data is shared among family members as part of the Service functionality
• We implement appropriate security measures to protect user data

7.2 Third-Party Services

• Our Service may integrate with third-party services (e.g., cloud storage, AI processing)
• Third-party services have their own privacy policies and terms
• We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices

8. Push Notifications

• The Service may send push notifications about chore updates, completions, and family activities
• You can manage notification preferences in your device settings or app settings
• Notifications are intended to enhance the family chore management experience

9. Intellectual Property

• The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ChoresAI
• The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission

9.2 User Content

• You retain ownership of photos and content you submit
• You grant us a license to use submitted content for Service operation and improvement
• You represent that you have the right to submit all content you upload

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

10.1 Service Availability

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time

10.2 AI Accuracy

• AI analysis results are automated and may contain errors
• We encourage parental review of AI decisions
• We are not liable for incorrect AI assessments

10.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChoresAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

11. Family Disputes

• ChoresAI is a tool to facilitate family chore management
• We are not responsible for resolving family disputes about chores, rewards, or Service use
• Parents maintain final authority over family account decisions
• We encourage families to establish their own guidelines for Service use

12. Account Termination

12.1 Termination by You

• You may delete your account at any time through the app settings
• Parents may terminate child accounts within their family
• Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

12.2 Termination by Us

• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms
• We may terminate accounts for illegal or harmful activity
• We will provide notice when reasonably possible

13. Changes to Terms

• We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time
• We will notify users of significant changes through the app or email
• Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance
• If you disagree with changes, you should discontinue use of the Service

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where ChoresAI is headquartered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
